Additionally, state and federal law provide for criminal penalties for personal financial service providers who disclose client information.  Your written consent will be obtained before Alexandria Louis Tax Solutions, LLC uses or discloses your information for any purpose other than the preparation of your tax returns or bookkeeping records.

Alexandria Louis Tax Solutions, LLC collects nonpublic personal information about you that you provide to us, or by which is obtained by us with your authorization.  The type of information we collect includes: 

· Personal information used to prepare tax returns

· Business information used to maintain bookkeeping records

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information

Current and former client’s nonpublic personal information obtained in the course of providing services is not disclosed to outside entities without written consent unless required by law.  Nonpublic personal information is only shared with employees who need access to provide services.  

Notice Regarding Adviser-Client Privileged-Communications

Information shared during the interview for the preparation of your tax return is confidential, but not protected from the IRS. Privileged communications (those that are protected from IRS authority to compel our testimony) are limited to non-criminal tax advice on matters before the IRS or non-criminal tax proceedings in federal courts. Although we consider any information you provide us as confidential, return preparation engagements are not covered by adviser-client privilege.

If you feel the nature of any subject matter to be discussed requires protected communications, please raise that issue so that we can discuss your possible need to consult with an attorney for legal advice.
